In March, the Rio Doce Basin Repair, with technical support from DVF Consultoria, held the Inaugural Classes for the +Gestão 2.0 Project.

In 2024, 65 companies were selected to receive individualized consultancy, personalized action plans and support from DVF Consultoria to help these organizations develop. The Project's activities also included technical workshops and business meetings, open to companies in the area covered.

In 2025, 20 of the 62 companies that carried out the Final Diagnosis in the previous year were invited to the +Management 2.0 Project phase, with the objective of promoting the strategic and operational integration of fundamental pillars for excellence, transforming the participating businesses into high-performance organizations. This stage seeks to promote:

✅ Business maturity, resilience, innovation and sustainable growth;

✅ Development of processes and technology with a focus on people and strategy;

✅ Alignment of strategic pillars with solid financial control, creating competitive advantages;

✅ Automation of processes and operations guided by financial metrics and performance indicators.

The Inaugural Classes aim to present the programmatic contents of the +Management 2.0 Project, generate integration among participants as well as align on meetings, schedule and event agenda.

The events took place in:

🗓️  March 18th, in Mariana (MG);

🗓️  March 19th, in Ipatinga (MG);

🗓️  20 de Março, em Colatina (ES);

🗓️  20 de Março, em Linhares (ES);

At each event, we had inspiring speeches from businesspeople and partners who are leaders in their respective cities, to whom we extend our gratitude. They spoke about the positive impacts of training managers and certifying companies, the appreciation of associations and the legacy of the +Management Project from previous cycles.

These meetings were attended by:

✅  Marco Martins, from Martins Architecture;

✅ Nilton Diniz, from Diniz & Torres Consulting;

✅ Adauto Lemos, director of UNINTER and ASSEDIC (Business Association of Colatina and Region);

✅  Luiz Mário, director of Norte Recicla and president of ADEL (Association for the Development of Linhares).

The events were well evaluated by participants, being assertive and fulfilling the objective of presenting the +Management 2.0 Project methodology and motivating companies to overcome adversities.

We thank everyone for their presence and emphasize our commitment to regional development.

Together we can go further! 🚀

ES's basic industry grows inside and outside the State

The revenue of companies in the segment exceeded R$12 billion last year, and they employ 49 thousand people in ES. Between 2021 and 2023, growth outside the state was 124%.

Espírito Santo's basic industry, a reference in the supply of products and services for the oil and gas, energy, steel, mining and pulp industries, has been gaining ground outside the state. The revenue of the 158 companies that make up the segment reached R$12.2 billion last year - 59% (R$7.2 billion) came from contracts signed outside Espírito Santo. Between 2021 and 2023, the expansion is 12%.

“The largest industries in Espírito Santo are in the oil and gas, steel, mining and pulp sectors. We have learned a lot by supplying them and we are taking the experience abroad, which is great for our industry. Before, we depended heavily on investments made here in Espírito Santo. Now, we are looking at the whole of Brazil. The market is bigger and the risks end up being diluted,” explained Antônio Falcão, president of the Chamber of Base and Construction of the Federation of Industries of Espírito Santo.

Suppliers from Espírito Santo operate in a market worth almost a trillion dollars. Over the next five years, purchases and investments to be made by oil and gas, energy, steel, mining and pulp companies throughout Brazil will reach R$970 billion. The data was collected by DVF Consultoria and will be presented at the Mec Show, a trade fair for the sector that will be held from August 6 to 8 at the Pavilhão de Carapina.

“These are good numbers, but we want more. We are in constant contact with the executives of these companies because it is very important to have proximity, to know the projects and to understand the demands. The data shows that we need to persist in this work and invest heavily in efficiency, technology and workforce qualification”, pointed out Leonardo Cereza, president of the Union of Metallurgical and Electrical Material Industries of the State of Espírito Santo (Sindifer).

The beginning of an ongoing journey!

It is with enthusiasm and determination that we find ourselves in the +Management Project Class 2024, in search of continuous improvement and development of our businesses.

The project's initiative is to increase competitiveness through excellence in management, adopting tools, processes and procedures that drive companies towards their development.

This journey began in February of this year with the diagnosis that provided the planning of actions to improve quality; productivity; health, safety and environment; social responsibility and accounting, tax and labor management.

Over the next 6 months, using the Action Plan as a guide, remember that: execution is where the real difference lies in successful businesses. With discipline, determination and the right people, execution can turn dreams into reality!

Participating companies will have access to individual consultancy to support the execution of the Action Plan activities, will participate in Business Meetings with large purchasing companies and will have access to technical content on cross-cutting business topics such as sustainability, quality management, logistics, commercial management, marketing, financial management, accounting and tax management and business succession.

The work will be evaluated in October of this year. Then, in November, the participating companies will receive a certificate of participation, as well as an Action Plan for 2025. In the coming year, with the methodology of management by results and with the experience gained through the +Management Project Class 2024, the entrepreneurs will continue on the journey of continuous improvement with our support!

Commitment to constant evolution builds resilient and competitive companies. Dedication, hard work and a focus on excellence shape the future of our companies.

Count on the support of the DVF Consultoria team!

We are together with determination and courage on a journey that begins now!
