Over the next five years, Esp\u00edrito Santo will receive billions in private investment in the oil and gas, mining, steel, paper and pulp, energy, infrastructure, power and industry sectors in general.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Capex investments account for approximately 60% of the total. The remaining 40% of Opex comes from companies operating in the state. These companies purchase more than R$8 billion in products or services per year, which represents a competitive advantage for suppliers based here in Esp\u00edrito Santo. All they need is the capacity and competence to meet the strict criteria required by buyers.<\/p>\n

In recent years, local suppliers of basic industries \u2013 equipment manufacturing, metal structures, industrial assembly and maintenance, civil construction, engineering and industrial management, specialized services and trade for industry \u2013 have worked on managerial training, process certification, workforce qualification, using new technologies and promoting innovation. As a result, they have been able to meet the demands of companies' investments in the state and are already exporting to other regions.<\/p>\n

The work coordinated by the business institutions Sindifer, Sinduscon, Sindicopes and CDMEC, with support from Findes, Sebrae and the state government, has already developed more than 150 companies through the Suppliers Program (PDF), with 49 thousand employees and revenues of R$ 12 billion per year. Currently, 60% of the revenues of these companies come from supplies for projects executed in other states, which demonstrates the progress of local companies.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that the clients of Esp\u00edrito Santo suppliers are companies such as ArcelorMittal, Vale Suzano, Petrobras, Simec, Shell, Prio, Seacrest, Garoto and multinational technology companies, references on the international scene, which recognize in Esp\u00edrito Santo companies the competence, creativity and socio-environmental responsibility that every modern enterprise demands.<\/p>\n

Within this context of continuous training of supplier companies, we can mention seminars, events and networking and business opportunities such as the Mec Show industrial fair, which will take place from August 6 to 8 at the Pavilh\u00e3o de Carapina, Serra (ES). In its 17th edition, there will be 12 technical panels and 50 speakers from various Brazilian states, executives from the main investors operating in the country, in addition to more than 330 exhibiting brands.<\/p>\n

All of this is only possible through joint work involving professional associations, educational institutions and the government. Many achievements have been made, but much still needs to be done. We cannot stop, improvement is continuous, and we are in a hurry to get there.<\/p>\n

Com isso conseguiram atender as demandas dos investimentos das empresas no Estado e j\u00e1 est\u00e3o exportando para outras regi\u00f5es.
