LECAR's plan to produce the first Brazilian electric car in the northern region of the state adds to the efforts that the Espírito Santo industry has made in recent years to verticalize the metal transformation industry and meet what the modern economy is demanding, reducing carbon emissions into the atmosphere.

In the north of the state, in São Mateus, we have installed, in the expansion phase, the Marcopolo bus assembly plant, which will produce electric buses, an unprecedented project in the country, with support from the government and Randon, in Linhares, producing road implements.

The installation of the LECAR unit will serve as an incentive for ArcelorMittal Tubarão, a steel mill operating since 1983 in the municipality of Serra, which is a reference in the world, to expand its product line, implementing a Cold Strip Mill unit - LTF, a long-standing dream of the metalworking sector in Espírito Santo.

The automotive sector's supply chain is extensive and will diversify our economy, generating quality businesses and jobs, presenting society with a modern product that is widely accepted in the market.
